2021 January Virtual Meeting
January 19 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Smart Ventilation for Health and Covid-19 MitigationSmart ventilation systems efficiently automate indoor air quality management. We will discuss characteristics of smart ventilation, including impacts of air quality on health, cognition, work productivity, and energy. Doubling today’s standard ventilation levels significantly improves cognition and decreases sick days. Air filtration and UVGI (Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation) air sanitation impacts on disease transmission, including SARS-CoV-2 transmission will be also be presented. Finally, cost impacts of increased fresh air ventilation, air filtration and UVGI are discussed.
